GP3 is a 3 piece R n B, Blues, and Rock Band, formed in 2007 with a view to bringing a big sound to smaller venues throughout Ireland.The band comprises Gary Price on lead guitar and vocals, Kieran Sherry on bass and vocals, and Declan Price on drums and percussion.
Gary has been an integral part of the Irish music scene for many years with bands such as The Booze Bros, Free Beer Band, Catch 22, and Joker, and his free flowing improvised guitar style is much admired.
Kieran lays down a funky bass for a number of projects, including local favourites Hair of the Dog. Declan's powerful drum style is the backbone of up and coming indie rock band the Mysterons, and together they form a solid rhythm section,
The bands set wanders from the straight blues of BB King, through Clapton, Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, with modern blues added to spice the mix.
